Kendal Town 0, Colwyn Bay 0.
Kendal Town's chances of rising above the no man's lands of mid-table in the UniBond League First Division worsened as the result of a goalless draw at Parkside.
A plus factor was that Town appeared to have plugged the leaky defence which has cost them so dearly in recent matches.
But it came at a price as their isolated strikers were seldom supplied with enough quality ball from the deep defending midfield to seriously threaten the Colwyn Bay goal.
The draw leaves Town seventh in the table, but a widening gap means they have to pick up two victories to even break into the play-off places.
