HAS anyone else noticed that Lancashire County Council and Lancaster City Council both have split personalities?
On the one hand they are giving out free compost bins in a bid to change our refuse collection into a recycling campaign.
On the other hand they are proposing to ruin the village ambience of Torrisholme and cover rolling English farmland in concrete to encourage more and more heavy traffic from Heysham to the M6.
This will do very little to elevate the congestion between Lancaster and Morecambe but will increase CO2 emissions. Am I mad or is it the council?
