DISASTER'S bring out the best in Morecambe woman Gabrielle Feather - and she has just scooped a top award to prove it.
Gabrielle, pictured, has been voted franchisee employee of the year by disaster restoration company Rainbow International.
She beat more than 1,000 people to the title within the firm that specialises in restoring homes and businesses following fire, flood or accidental damage as well as providing a carpet and upholstery cleaning service.
Gabrielle works for the South Cumbria, Lancaster, Morecambe and Bowland franchise of Rainbow International, based at White Lund, Morecambe.
Her employers are Jonathan and Maureen Hargreaves-Townson, who have owned the franchise for four years and describe her as having a fabulous work ethic, focused and committed to getting the job done, above and beyond expectations.' "Gabrielle is a treasure. She always contributes to the day-to-day running of the business and maximises opportunities that are presented to her to get the best out of them," says Maureen.
"We are truly delighted she has won this award. It could not have been more thoroughly deserved."
Gabrielle says: "I was absolutely delighted and very proud to have won this award. But it could not have been achieved without great back-up from all my colleagues."
