A CURIOUS double bill with Lesley Hill and Helen Paris is coming to Lancaster University's Nuffield Theatre next month.
Smoking Gun' and Family Hold Back' will be staged on Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6, continuing a mini-season of theatre events.
Leslie and Helen present a very unusual take on the special relationship' between the UK and USA.
Smoking Gun is by American Leslie Hill and explores a heritage of villainy and heroism. It looks at where we come from, where we're going and why we can't seem to stop killing each other.
Family Hold Back by Helen Paris is a highly visual, darkly comic performance airing the perversities of politeness at the English dinner table where no one mentions politics and everyone knows that Trotterscliffe is pronounced Trosley.
Over three courses, codes of Englishness are exposed as weapons of mass destruction as Helen stains, soils and sullies the preserves of the white middle-class, Tickets are from the box office on 01524-39021
