SNAP Theatre Company will perform The Borrowers at Lancaster Grand Theatre next Sunday and Monday, February 27 and 28.
Based on the novel by Mary Norton, adapted and directed by Andy Graham, it follows the fortunes of a family of tiny people who live beneath the floor, behind the clock and wherever else they like in our homes - and everything they have is borrowed' from upstairs.
They are safe as long as the human beans' don't see them. But Arrietty, has never been outside or upstairs and craves adventure.
The production uses puppetry, shadows and sound to show the differences between the two worlds of the borrowers and the human beans.
Actors Chris Mellows, Elise Davidson, Adam Borzone and Sarah Louise Kasselle create the amazing world of characters that will make you laugh and occasionally cry.
