IN VIEW of the fact that all major services such as fire, police and ambulance are now administered from Preston and any major enterprises earmarked for the county seem to go directly to Preston even the London rail link it seems to me that Lancaster is becoming a forgotten city. Is it time, therefore, for Lancaster to withdraw from Prestonshire and possibly form a Morecambe Bay local authority?
