This week's dinner for two' competition features Ulverston restaurant Rustique. The fabulous food and relaxed atmosphere make it one of the town's favourite eating out spots.
Chef-owner Jason Bright (pictured left), who prides himself on creating menus which fuse contemporary and traditional styles, strives to incorporate local fresh produce wherever possible.
A typical evening menu might include: For starters Game terrine with plum & apple chutney.
Mussels in pesto, wine and cream.
Pan-fried fishcakes with tartar sauce.
Main dishes Slow braised pork belly with orange, soy & pak choi.
Braised & roasted lamb shank in a red wine gravy with coarse mustard mash.
Seared organic salmon with parsnip puree & fresh horseradish sauce.
Potato gnocci with basil, mozzarella & roasted cherry tomatoes.
And for dessert Lemon crme brulee with almond biscuit & berry compote.
Strawberries marinated in sweet balsamic & black pepper with iced liquorice & cinnamon mousse.
The restaurant is open for lunch from 12-2pm Tuesday to Saturday and evening meals from 7pm Tuesday to Saturday. Booking is recommended, especially at weekends.

The prize which is subject to availability will go to the first correct entry drawn.
