KENDAL Leisure Centre has a full programme of activities, sports and entertainment over the half term break. Tuesday, February 15 is Fun To Do day with swimming in the pool and plenty of sports on the go throughout the day, from 10am-3.30pm.
On Wednesday, February 16, enjoy some tropical island adventures with Robinson Crusoe and his trusty companion Man Friday, at 11am and 2pm.

KENDAL Museum is organising several events to keep the children busy this half term.
On Tuesday, February 15 (4-7 years) and Thursday, February 17 (8-12 years) from 11am12.30pm dress up as a Victorian and make Victorian portraits to take home at the Victorian Living children's event. Booking is essential on 01539-721374. These events are designed to coincide with the Photographs of Old Kendal exhibition, which features photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries taken from the Margaret Duff collection.
The museum is also hosting a small exhibition entitled Mountains: Inspiration or Obstacle, which features a display of Kurt Schwitters-inspired collages created by children from Fellview, Langdale and north Lakes schools. The exhibition runs from Saturday, February 12 to April 23.
