ART student Charlotte Bird is putting the final touches to the new indoor play area at Eden Ostrich World.
Carlisle College of Art student Charlotte, 19, from Skelton, works at the family attraction as a general assistant, but when the owners decided to expand the facilities they called on the Foundation Course artist to use her painting talents.
Charlotte said: "I have painted around 25 different animal characters around the new soft play area, but we had to have at least a couple of ostriches in here."
And the biggest birds in the world form a high chart for the children to use to measure themselves as well as discover more interesting facts about ostriches.
Co-owner of Eden Ostrich World Karen Peat said: "Charlotte has done a wonderful job, designing and painting the many animals and birds that decorate the new area. We are aiming to have the new soft play area open for families to enjoy this half term holiday, so everyone will be able to see Charlotte's brilliant work."
