A KENDAL garage has unveiled its first arrival of the New Year in the form of the award-winning 2005 Jeep Cherokee.
The new Cherokee has landed at the South Lakeland Chrysler and Jeep dealer ES Hartley Ltd with a completely new look, updated interior and a new diesel engine. Outside, a new front grille with fog lamps together with a stylish front fascia complement the wider, more comfortable seats inside the vehicle. Under the bonnet, a 2.8 litre diesel engine replaces the 2.5litre unit across the entire range, using a variable geometry turbo-charger to cut emissions and improve power. Earl Briggs, sales manager at ES Hartley, at Ings, near Staveley, said: "The Cherokee is one of Jeep's most popular vehicles and offers a classic combination of off-road ruggedness and on-road refinement. With its new look inside and out, a more environmentally-friendly diesel engine, plus a 4-star Euro NCAP safety rating, the Cherokee is sure to be a top seller in 2005."
