FOUR "outstanding" South Lakeland schools are named as being among the best in the country by Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools David Bell.
He has named 364 schools and 29 colleges nationwide that his organisation ranked as "outstanding" and included on the list were: Arnside National CE Primary; Lindal and Marton Primary, Lindal-in-Furness; Sedbergh Primary; and St Mary's CE Primary, Kirkby Lonsdale.
