An exhibition is to be held at Kendal College, Milnthorpe road site, of the work of the digital imaging students at the College.
Their tutor Peter Jenkins, who is also a part- time magician, has sought to bring out the magic of Adobe Photoshop in the course and this is shown by the standard of the work displayed.
Two local artists have agreed to judge the quality of the work - Tiana Marie and Kevin Chester both of whom are established professional artists.
Tiana Marie's paintings are charged with a dynamic will of power, emotion and feeling which communicate directly to the heart of the viewer. It is this dynamic power that Peter tries to instill in his students.
Kevin Chester has recently returned from Brazil where he supported himself as an artist. He is currently working on landscape images.
The exhibition is due to start on the 31st of January and will run for one month. It is an appropriate time for a magician to start an exhibition as it is the saints day of the Patron Saint of Magicians St John de Bosco.
New courses in digital imaging are about to start . Do not miss out on the magic of these courses.
If you have any interest in digital imaging please contact the college on 015395 814700.
