KIRKBY Stephen Grammar School Sports College will be playing host to two different types of soccer camp this half-term when both Newcastle United's coaching team and former professional goalkeeper Tony Elliott will be passing on their knowledge to local players.
The very popular Newcastle United coaching camp will be held from Monday, February 14, until Thursday, February 17, and this will be followed by a first for Kirkby when ex-pro Tony Elliott hosts a one day camp for goalkeepers on Friday, February 18. The cost of the four-day Newcastle camp is £40 and includes a quality coaching certificate and NUFC football, plus the chance to win medals and trophies, while the cost for the "keepers" camp is £22, which includes three hours' coaching, a pair of Puma keeper gloves and a Puma football.
The Newcastle camp is open to players aged five to 14 while the keepers camp is open to players aged seven-to-16 years. All are welcome.
