A LANCASTER man has been appointed as the new general manager of the Holiday Inn, Preston.
Jonathan King is no stranger to hotel management in Britain's newest city he was general manager of the hotel when it was formerly a Poste House property.
He began his career working at the Holiday Inn. Lancaster. while studying at Lancaster University, before moving to various hotels across the North West for a number of years.
Prior to this appointment, Jonathan (pictured) was general manager of the Holiday Inn at Stoke-on-Trent for more than two years.
The Holiday Inn Preston has recently been acquired by Centre Island, who plan to spend more than £1.5 million on upgrading the building.
Mr King, who moved back to live in Lancaster two years ago with his wife Alina, says: "I am delighted to rejoin the hotel at such an exciting time in its redevelopment and am looking forward to renewing old acquaintances in the business commercial community and establish great working links with the public."
