A COUPLE was rescued in the Greenup Edge area after they got lost and disorientated in mist and snow at around 4.40pm on Friday, January 14.
The 50-year-olds, both from Hastings, were found at 7.15pm in the High Raise area by 35 members of the Langdale and Ambleside, Keswick and Kendal Mountain Rescue Teams, aided by four search and rescue dog handlers.
The group walked to safety vie Wythburn, in Borrowdale, in what was LAMRT's second rescue of the year to date.
