Twin hope GRANGE-over-Sands is looking to follow in the footsteps of Sedbergh and find itself a foreign twin town. Grange Mayor, Coun Robert Leach, asked fellow town councillors to spread the word that the seaside resort is looking to twin up with a town or village in another country.
He urged members at a meeting on Monday to watch the TV series charting Sedbergh's search for a twin town to seek ideas.
It was resolved that the matter will be further discussed at the council's meeting in March.
