TIPS on how to best promote your business at an international trade fair will be on offer at the latest meeting of Cumbria Export Club next week.
Two speakers with a wealth of experience on how best to make an impact at overseas exhibitions will share their knowledge at the meeting, due to be held at the Rural Enterprise Centre, Redhills, Penrith, on Wednesday, January 12, starting at 5.30pm.
Joanne Allday, founder and managing director of Showing Off Ltd, offers specialist exhibition training and will explain some of the tricks of the trade' to club members.
Phil Pond, sales and marketing director at Goodacre Carpets of Kendal, will share some of his experiences on the international trade stage. Mr Pond started his career as a structural draughtsman before moving into overseas sales, and he has extensive experience of exhibiting in the Middle East and the USA.
