Maria and Mark Whitehead Hawkshead Relish Company emailed to say how they had been 'devasted' by the news and had 'managed to speak or contact people in Kerala with whom we have traded spices and made friends with over the past few years.'
They have decided to donate all the money from sales of their Spice Trade Chutney made in their shop or on their website to the appeal as the spices used originate from areas of Asia affected by the disaster.Every penny from every jar of their Spice Trade Chutney will see £3.50 donated to the relief appeal.
Visit their web site or contact them by mail at The Hawkshead Relish Company, The Square, Hawkshead, Cumbria LA22 0NZ.
