CHRISTMAS rolls into town early as Holker Hall launches its first festive fair this month.
More than 25 of the region's food producers and crafts people will be showcasing their wares at the Holker Christmas Fair on November 13 and 14.
The two-day event kicks off at 10.30am and will take place in the courtyard caf area where a barbeque of Holker's short horn beef will also take place.
Holker's Liz Ward said they hoped to make the event a regular date in the Christmas calendar.
"This is our first year but we are hoping to have it on an annual basis," she said. "It's going to be hassle-free, enjoyable festive shopping."
