LANCASTER'S Grand Theatre is coming over all Dickens with adaptations of two of the legendary author's favourite classics.
Morecambe Warblers will start the ball rolling with their version of the smash hit musical Oliver next week.
And it will be followed up by an all-new adaption of A Christmas Carol by touring drama group Europe.
A Grand spokesman says: "What better place to stage them than the venue where Dickens himself read A Christmas Carol' in 1861."
Morecambe Warblers take to the stage from Tuesday to Saturday next week (November 9 to 13) to tell the story of the endearing orphan Oliver Twist in well-loved words and music.
There will be performances nightly at 7.30pm and a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.
Europe and TNT Music Theatre will perform A Christmas Carol for one night only on Tuesday, November 16, at 7.30pm before taking the production on a world tour.
More details of both shows and tickets are available from the Grand box office on 01524-64695.
