Talk aids thyroid suffers BAD weather did not deter thyroid sufferers, with family and friends, from gathering in the McPherson Room, in Penrith, for the Thyroid Foundation of North Cumbria (TFNC) meeting.
The meeting heard Consultant Endocrinologist Dr Hilary Sawer, from the Cumberland Infirmary, give a talk on Aspects of Thyroid Management.
With the benefit of a slide-slow, Dr Sawer explained and answered many of questions that surrounds thyroid disease before a question and answer session from the audience.
The TFNC is holding its annual Christmas buffet meeting on Thursday, November 18, at 6.30pm, in the McPherson Room, at the Evergreen Hall, Penrith. Thyroid sufferers, their family and friends are welcome to attend this meeting. The TFNC Super' raffle with an abundance of prizes will be drawn at approximately 8pm.
