Heysham Atoms' game against Waterhead (Oldham) was called off on Friday due to a waterlogged pitch giving the locals their second free Satur-day in succession.
This was more than a little frustrating as the Atoms have built up some real momentum by winning fiveNorth West Division Four games on the run in their rise to second in the table, says coach Dave Crow.
On Saturday, Atoms play Eccleston Lions (away) in the North West Counties Bowl, a game that will see Atoms give a game to other squad members.
