LANCASTER sit six points clear at the top of the National Water Polo League table after over-coming a battling Bristol side for the second time this season.
The city swimmers earned an 11-7 verdict in a hard fought match at Salt Ayre on Saturday.
Tom Curwen (4) and Dou-gie Campbell (3) did the bulk of the scoring, with other goals from Jamie McIlquham (2), Chris Har-tley and Scot Carpenter.
