CAMPAIGNERS demanding that poor countries get a better deal from international trade will gather at the top of Finkle Street, Kendal, Saturday.
They will call on the Government to ensure that poor countries are free to choose the best policies for reducing poverty, and that the UK passes laws to stop big business profiting at the expense of people and the planet.
he campaigners will present a Trade Justice themed performance with a rigged trade rules' tug-of-war where ill-matched teams representing developing countries and rich countries will compete.
Those at the event will be asked to cast their Vote for Trade Justice' in a giant ballot box.
