LANCASTER univ-ersity theatre group is returning to the popular Gregson Centre in Lancaster with a fresh production of Dario Fo's Accidental Death of an Anarchist' next month.
The production focuses on a police station in Italy when a bomb explodes downtown.
The police blame it on anarchists but it turns out to be a fascist member of the police force.
Producer Dan Serridge, who won a theatre group Oscar' and critial acclaim for his performance in last term's production of A Streetcar Named Desire, says the play uses slapstick and comedy and is quite physically demanding.
"Its very funny and very political - that's it in simple terms," he says.
The production promises to live up to the group's current high standard of theatre, kicking off another packed year of top quality shows.
It will be on stage at The Gregson on Nov-ember 23 and 24.
