Mixed fortunes in Rum rally RALLYING: After 162 competitive miles and 30 hours' driving, Reagill's Keith and Helen Hall took a fine 12th place overall in their Impreza 2000 and the award for the first mixed crew in last weekend's Tour of Mull Rally.
Among the non-finishers was Appleby's Dougi Hall and Scott Bainbridge, who were fourth overall when their Mitsubishi Evo 8 snapped a half-shaft on the second of the afternoon stages.
They replaced the half-shaft before going out on Saturday night and, as consolation, won the Trophy Rally by nearly three and a half minutes.
