SWIM star Lauren Palmer has made a big splash by winning a host of medals with her pool prowess.
Lauren, 15, represented the Lancashire Army Cadets for the first time and returned from the county swimming championships with one gold and three silver medals.
She then moved on to the North West championships and won both a gold and a silver medal.
The young ace, pictured, daughter of George and Caroline Palmer, who own Heysham's Bryson's Brewery, then took the plunge in the three forces national championships and came home again with a gold and silver medal haul.
"She is a really good all-rounder," says proud dad George. "She has done ever so well and doesn't really have a weak stroke."
