A WELL-KNOWN comedy duo are to embark on a Gospel Tour in a bid to take the church community by storm.

Squeezed in between their usual round of commercial appear-ances, pantomimes, cruises, and summer season, double act Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball are hitting the road with an all new show.

And Morecambe Dome is among the venues for the Rock Around The Church' tour.

Morecambe Com-munity Church and Stanley Road Baptist Church are jointly hosting the event.

"It's been a hugely busy year, but it's always good to spend time showing why our faith is important to us," says Tommy.

The pair will laugh, sing and chat their way through an evening which aims to give a rare insight into life and faith in the world of showbusiness.

"We want people to know that its not boring being a Christian, in fact it's great," says Bobby.

The show also features Syd Little, one half of comedy act Little and Large, vocalist Diane Regan and host Chris Gidney from Christians in Entertainment.

Rock Around the Church is at the Dome on October 28.
