FOURTEEN curates from the Church of England in Lancashire are jetting off to learn about church life in Germany.
Their visit will see them visit the Lutheran Diocese of Braunchweig, studying alongside German clergy and working in German parishes.
"The aim is for a new generation of clergy to get to grips with our Braunschweig partnership and see something of the life of the church out there," says the Archdeacon of Lancaster, the Venerable Colin Williams, who will lead the group.
"The visit will also give our curates the chance to gain an overview of the partnership as it has developed since 1996 and will help us explore the potential for the link.
Rev Keith Thomasson, from The Priory in Lancaster, is also taking part in the event.
