LUDUS Dance - Britain's leading Dance-in-Education Company - premieres its new show Perfecting Eugene at the Platform in Morecambe on Friday October 8 at 7.30pm.
The show is directed by 2004 Olivier Award winner, Mark Whitelaw and choreographed by Emily Burns.
Perfecting Eugene is a humorous yet poignant exploration into the science of human genetics which asks the question 'How far will we go?' How will society's desire for perfection affect decisions regarding who can be born and influence how we deal with difference?
This is accessible dance theatre designed to bombard the senses with a punchy, innovative movement style, dazzling film, eclectic sounds and surprising design.
The show has been preceded by a series of workshops in local schools in the weeks beforehand and there will be performances by some of the participants on the evening.
Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01524-582803.
