LANCASTER used their final Northern Counties water polo match of the season as a warm up for the second weekend of National League fixtures and hammered Stoke side Paragon 16-2.
Neil Bowers was a persistent thorn for the opposition as he top scored for Lancaster with four goals. Other seniors present and in support were Steve Knowles with three goals, Chris Hartley and Rysz Detko with two goals each and, Jamie McIlquham (1 goal).
Also on the score sheet were Joe Wannop (two), Alex Hargreaves and Glen Robinson (one). Zak Sly again featured in goal and continues to show a consistent improvement in the quality of his goalkeeping, his shot stopping and his ball distribution.
