The Good News publication has celebrated its 10th birthday by going into cyberspace, as it has become a professionally produced website with national and regional pages for England, Scotland and Wales.
Readers can find it at www.thegoodnews.co.uk "This is probably the publication's boldest move to date," editor Howard Dobson says, taking a break from compiling articles, "as we are making Christian information available to everyone who wants to visit the site - plus we are expanding into areas we haven't previously covered."
In the early days, The Good News was funded by Hull's Good News Centre and was posted out to readers in the Hull area as well as being available from the Good News Bookshop in Hull's Wright Street; later it was a free newsletter available from churches and Christian bookshops throughout North and East Yorkshire; and in latter years it became a plain text email.
