MORE than 28 years after they were named the brightest hope' by influential music publication Melody Maker, the legacy of Wishbone Ash lives on...
An exceptional recording and touring career has seen Ash weather many changes... but they have passed into the new millennium better and stronger than ever.
And they are heading for Morecambe once more as part of their biggest tour for many years.
Founder member Andy Powell is joined by Ray Weston, Bob Skeat and Ben Granfelt, pictured, to perform an hour and a half of classic Ash tunes, along with recent material, at the Platform on Saturday, October 16.
Widely regarded as the quintessential road band, they are an acknowledged influence of some of rock's greats Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden to name but two.
