A SOUTH African choir dubbed the Singing Ambassadors' is set for Lancaster as part of a national tour.
The internationally acclaimed Drakensberg Boys' Choir have performed at the Vatican in front of 25,000 people for the Pope and at Disney's Magic Kingdom.
And on Friday they are coming to Lancaster's Ashton Hall.
They will team up with two of Lancashire's top youth ensembles while in the city, the Lancashire Schools' Jazz Orchestra and the Lancaster Music Centre Ensemble.
And they will perform Themes in Time and Space', a piece specially composed for them by three of their tutors.
Members of the Drakensberg Boys' Choir are aged between nine and 15 and come from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Since 1971 the choir has toured extensively and appeared in the USA, Europe, Israel, Egypt and the Far East.
The concert starts at 7:30pm and tickets are available on the door or from the box office on 01257-234450.
