LANGDALE and Ambleside Mountain Rescue were called out twice over the weekend.
On Friday night at 10pm team members got the call to help a 39-year-old Burnley man, who twisted his ankle at Ambleside's Dove Crag while going camping.
On Saturday afternoon a 77-year-old man from Ormskirk was taken to Kendal's Westmorland General Hospital with knee injuries and ligament damage, after slipping on a path at Fell Foot, Little Langdale.
