The boardroom appointments follow two years of rapid growth for the business, which earlier this year was ranked 54th in The Sunday Times UK Profit Track 100' listing, with profits rising by 55 per cent a year from £1.1 million in 2000 to £4 million in 2003. Profits for the year to January 2004 doubled to £8 million.
Established in 1988, South Lakeland Caravans has holiday parks in 13 locations, including White Cross Bay Leisure Park and Marina, Windermere.
Managing director John Morphet said: "We have aggressive business development plans and it is essential that we have a high quality senior team in place in order to achieve our targets."
Vicki Morphet joined the company's sales team in 1998. She became holiday hire manager two years later and took on responsibility for PR and marketing last year.
Paul Rossiter was appointed head of finance at South Lakeland Caravans in 1999. A former tax specialist at KPMG, Preston, with 13 years of experience in accountancy, he has a wide knowledge of the leisure park industry.
