TOP Morecambe music venue the Hothouse launches a new season of sessions next week.
More Music in Morecambe aims to make music available to everyone and works with top performers to provide some-thing for all tastes.
On Monday's Jon Moore and Richard French will be leading guitar sessions with all abilities welcome, the teaching is informal and the atmosphere is relaxed.
The class caters for all tastes and styles, and is run in partnership with Lanc-aster and Morecambe College.
The 10-week term costs £30 but is free to people in receipt of certain benefits.
Also on Monday's MMM's director Pete Moser will lead the Hothouse Singers - a friendly adult group for people who sing and those who don't know they can.
He will be teaching a wide-ranging repertoire featuring a mix of original songs and tunes from around the world.
The session runs every two weeks and costs £3.
On Tuesday's from 10am to noon and 2pm to 4pm the Hothouse is open for Bang that Drum, music-making sessions for adults who need support while they learn.
This is a long-standing and successful activity led by multi talented musician Jan White.
Baybeat Morecambe's very own carnival band - meet on Tuesday's between 6.30 and 8.30pm with their unique brand of entertainment, with sessions costing £2 for adults and £1 for children.
A new Stages night is on Wednesday's with MMM tutors.
Later in the month Thursday night sessions start up again with the usual mix of DJ skills, singing, sound technology, rock school and didgeridoo.
