SOUTH Lakeland residents and businesses will be able to comment on proposals to pedestrianise Kendal town centre at a Cumbria County Council organised exhibition being staged at Kendal Town Hall next Tuesday, September 14, between 2pm and 6pm.
It is proposed to introduce pedestrianisation for a trial period which will involve introducing two-way traffic between Sandes Avenue and Library Road, restricting vehicle access between Library Road and the town hall and reversing the one-way traffic flow over this stretch to make it southbound.
