THE DAPPER dress of well-practised participants in Ulverston's annual Dickensian festival clinched five of the six adult costume prizes at last weekend's Kirkby Lonsdale Victorian Fair.
In their Victorian outfits, Sandra Hall-Fletcher won best hat, Moira Storry won the Best Victorian Lady, Peter Winston won the most unusual costume for his Victorian doctor gear and in the best Victorian gentleman's costume competition Ralph Spours came top with Allan Storey in second place.
