COUNCIL house tenants in Morecambe will face a trip to Lancaster to sort out inquiries and talk to council staff from next month.
For Lancaster City Council is to put all its housing services into one office - at a site in the city.
The housing services office at Morecambe town hall will be closed, along with other smaller Lancaster offices in Dalton Square and Ryelands Park, Lancaster.
All the staff will move from the existing offices into new premises in Lancaster's Cable Street after consultation with tenants and leaseholders.
No date has been set for the move but a souncil spokesman says it is hoped the switch will take place early next month.
