LOCAL motorcycle privateer Glyn Ormerod faces a huge weekend as the New Era Super-club Championship builds to a nerve-jangling climax.
He is one of three riders in a tussle for the title as the racing circus moves on to Brands Hatch on Saturday.
Ormerod lies in second place in the championship table just two points off the lead with four races remaining in a season packed with incident and excitement.
Since racing at Oulton Park on August 7, when he won one race and crashed out of a second, the Burton-in-Kendal rider has been working hard on testing, prac-ticing and fine tuning his bike.
Glyn is pictured discussing tyre selection for the demanding Brands Hatch circuit with his tyre technician and sponsor Mark Holbeach.
He says the outcome is too close to call but this Saturday will go a long way towards showing whether his dedication, hard work and talent can deliver the results he needs to send him to Oulton Park in October in pole position.
