THE 16th Cumbria Classic Rally revs into action this weekend with many changes to the winning formula of past years.
The event, now firmly established at Dalemain House, Ullswater, will consist of the 100-mile Pennine Tour on Saturday, and the Cumbria Classic Show on the Sunday.
A much large area of the parkland has been made available which will allow clubs to have biggest areas for their displays and for more craft tents and attractions.
There will be improvements to the access to the show and the public car parks to reduce congestion.
The programme includes:- A completely new route for the Appleby-based Pennine Tour.
New classes for cars built after 1980 and for modern sports and GT cars.
A class for modern customised cars.
A class for tractors and agricultural vehicles.
A Sunday morning run for the motorbikes.
More arena entertainment.
More craft and trade tents Large areas for traders.
A trials display by four by four vehicles and trials cars.
