POLICE have launched a murder inquiry after a couple were found dead in their home at Grange-over-Sands.
Two bodies, believed to be those of John Lewis, 56, and his wife Enid, 57, were discovered at their Riggs Close bungalow at around 2pm on Friday.
Cumbria Police said the incident was being treated as homicide, but no-one else was being sought over the deaths.
A post mortem examination is being carried out by a Home Office pathologist at Furness General Hospital.
