A TOUGH game of rugby league that ebbed and flowed from first minute to last was won 30-18 by Blackpool Sea Eagles on Sunday to bring an end to Lancaster's season.
The winners of this game went forward to the North West RL Conference play-off final but there is nowhere to go for the losers.
The sides were level 6-6 at the interval but Lancaster contrived to blow the game in the first 15 minutes of the second period. By the 55 minute mark they were 6-18 down and had Gavin Win-der in the sin bin.
Incredibly, the city men drew level at 18-18 with two converted tries before Blackpool twice broke clear to seal the win.
