IF LAKE District National Park planners give the go-ahead, the Belsfield Hotel, at Bowness, could soon have an additional 19 bedrooms on offer.
The 64 bedroom 19th century establishment, which sits on the shores of Windermere, has applied to renew permission to convert a coach house and flat in the grounds into additional accommodation for patrons.
National park planners will consider the application next month.
