I am a Danish journalist working on a television program In Denmark called Vanished (Sporls in Danish) which is a very popular program broadcasted on the national channel DR. The program tries to connect family members who lost contact, or family members who never got to meet for some reason.
At the moment I am working on a case where a Danish woman named Pia Rosenkilde, age 43, is looking for her English father, who she never got to meet, because the Danish mother, Kitty, moved back to Denmark before she was born.
In my research I have found out that the man which name is John (called Jack) Briscoe probably died last year. That I know because a daughter from the hotel owner where the mother worked back in 1959(in Lancaster)
she recalls seeing an advertise in the local newspaper saying something like: "John Biscoe known as Jack for his friends passed away(...)"
But she doesn't recall exactly when, or if it was your news paper..
My question to you is if it is possible to check if that might have been in your news paper?
And, another thing- the lady also told me that Jack/John Brsicoe had more than 5 or 6 children- would it be possible to put in an advertise asking them to contact me?
I know that you must have some kind of fee for things like that, but please let me know if that is possible...
If we succeed in finding the children, perhaps we will make a little program about them, and unite them, if they wish of course!
Best Regards, I am looking forward to hear from you (PS I with sent a picture of John Brisco - the lady is the mother of Pia)
