FUN loving, internationally renowned open-air theatre company Illyria returns to the county on Tuesday (July 27, 7pm) with an irreverent version of Shakespeare's The Tempest in the grounds of Brantwood.
The acclaimed outfit also stage Alice Through the Looking Glass on Tuesday, August 10 (7pm), again in the glorious surroundings of John Ruskin's home on the shore of Coniston Water.
Gates open at 6pm and visitors are advised to take low-backed chairs or rugs (and insect repellent).
Tickets are £8.50 adults/ £5.50 children, students and unwaged.
