I WISH to thank Lancashire County Council publicly for its response to my complaints earlier this year about the condition of Lancaster bus station.
It had deteriorated to a shocking state in the short time since it was opened in 2000 but is now regularly cleaned and kept tidy, even at busy periods.
It has not gone unnoticed by the travelling public, for many people have remarked on the improvements since they were brought to the attention of the council.
There is now even a new combined clock and bus arrival and departure time display suspended from the roof in the concourse where everyone can see it. Many thanks and well done Lancashire.
Cllr Sheila Denwood, Scotforth West.
