TRANMERE Rovers head up the list of teams who will tangle with Jim Harvey's new-look Morecambe team ahead of the new football season.
Division Two Tranmere, under manager Brian Little, just missed a place in the promotion play-offs last time around and made it to the last eight of the FA Cup before being beaten by eventual finalists Millwall.
They will provide the first test for Morecambe in a list of seven pre-season games announced this week.
Rovers will be at Christie Park on Tuesday, July 20, with a 7.45pm kick off and will be followed by further home ties against Preston North End (Weds, July 28), Blackburn Rovers (Fri, July 30) and Barrow ((Sat, Aug 7).
The Shrimps will make pre-season trips to Kendal Town (Fri July 23), Lancaster City (Tues, Aug 3) and Chorley (Tues, Aug 10). Other games may be added during the next few weeks, says the club.
