IN this week's Prizetime I am giving readers the chance to get some fresh sea-air and win highly sought-after tickets to the International Power & Glory event when it comes to Barrow next month.
On Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13, the seaside town will be transformed into a colourful carnival as it embarks on a weekend of celebration covering land, sea and air.
Taking centre stage over the two days is an array of tall ships from all over the world.
IP&G is also hosting the Royal Yachting Association National Powerboat racing Championships and will include some exciting demonstrations from the Army, Navy and RAF as well as a Battle of Britain memorial flyover.
Gates open at 10am and close at 5pm so you're guaranteed a fun-packed day whatever your age.
Tickets are available from Barrow Tourist Information Centre and are usually £6 per person per day with youngsters under the age of 13 going free.
Discounts are also available if you book in advance and for Senior Citizens.
If you fancy the sound of International Power & Glory, I have 10 pairs of tickets up for grabs.
To enter the competition to win this excellent prize simply answer the question in the coupon, fill it in and send it to me, Ellie Hargreaves, IP&G Competition, South Lakes Citizen, 1 Wainwright's Yard, Kendal, LA9 4DP, or email it to ellie.hargreaves@kendal. newsquest.co.uk before 9am next Tuesday.
QUESTION: WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE EVENT BEING HELD IN BARROW ON JUNE 12 AND 13?
Employees of Newsquest (Kendal) and their families are not eligible to enter. There is no cash alternative to the prize. The editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners must agree to participate with any publicity connected with this promotion.
